They are filled will a faux goose down for warmth and use a zipper and drawstring combination to keep out the cold. While taking care of your dog this Thanksgiving, don’t forget the many homeless dogs and cats waiting for a loving home at the local animal shelters. Even if you don’t have any room at your home for another pet, consider donating spare dry or canned pet food, outdated blankets, spare towels and cleaning supplies. Human food banks get a lot of donations during the holidays but hungry dogs and cats are left out in the cold.
