I’m very torn about how to review this sweater because on the one hand it is gorgeous and substantial and exceptionally well knitted. The gauge of wool is surprisingly thick and generous and the details are exquisite. On the other hand, the color of the sweater I received is nothing like the one pictured. I understand that “minor variations” in color are to be expected, but the mushroom-y taupe color of the sweater in the photo is what attracted me to it, so to receive a neutral gray sweater was a bit of a disappointment. I’m keeping it because it will look fine on her but it won’t highlight her coloration like sweater in the photo would have done. It’s a shame because it is perfect in every other way.
